Road trip to San Antonio today! We stopped in at VooDoo on Houston in the Alamo neighborhood specifically to try the Pumpkin Spice Latte Doughnut. Disclaimer: I don't like drinking a PSL. There's nothing I enjoy about drinking one. However, Voodoo's PSL Doughnut is DELICIOUS!! The glaze is a little too sweet, but the cream filling earns all the stars. They have managed to capture the flavor of pumpkin pie in a silky cream filling that just makes the doughnut sing. The shop is also really nice with a friendly staff and great atmosphere. There is seating inside as well as out. It's located in a funky little area of San Antonio with lots of shops and things to do within easy walking distance, including the Riverwalk and the Alamo. Be aware- there's no street parking, so if you haven't already chosen a place to leave your car for the day, there's a pay-to-park across the corner on Jefferson. If you don't want to try the PSL doughnut, I strongly recommend the Grape Ape. It's freaking amazing.

These doughnuts are amazing! The place is open till very late and each night while staying in San antonio we ended our night picking up a few doughnuts. Delicious!!

Out for our Sunday walk and what do we find - a VooDoo Donut shop. Today I switched it up - got the Captain Crunch. Good but the Portland Cream still my favorite. Right off the riverwalk and has both indoor and outdoor seating.

The aesthetics of the business are super cute and I love that they have a variety of options for doughnuts. They are a bit overpriced and sugary, but a doughnut is a doughnut. What more could you want? If you have a sweet tooth or perhaps a set of sweet teeth, I recommend this place!

Funky donut shop that caught my attention with its store decor. They serve a variety of donuts including vegan options too. I had the vegan maple bar and it was delicious and tasted super fresh. Cost me $3.25 for the donut and was quite a big size. Definitely recommended!
